The Woodlan Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hicksville Aces at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Woodlan will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
Last Tuesday, Woodlan ended up a good deal behind Eastside and lost 68-51.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Brooke Kneubuhler, who scored 17 points along with 8 assists and 6 steals. She scored a full 33.3% of Woodlan's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Anderson, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds.
Meanwhile, in a tight matchup that could have gone either way, Hicksville made off with a 37-36 victory over Continental.
The losses dropped Woodlan to 4-2 and Eastside to 6-1.
Woodlan beat Hicksville 64-51 when the teams last played back in November of 2022. Does Woodlan have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hicksville turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
