They took their game on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 60-8 win over Mead. With Osceola ahead 37-4 at the half, the match was all but over already.
It was another big night for Rori Wieseman, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Those 15 points set a new season-high mark for her. Emma Recker was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Osceola and bumps their season record up to 7-1. As for Mead, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Osceola won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Archbishop Bergan at 2:00 p.m. on December 30th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nebraska (Archbishop Bergan is ranked 78th, while Osceola is ranked 88th). Mead will finish 2023 at home by hosting Sutton at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
