Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Poly). They blew past the Lake Clifton Lakers 80-5 on Thursday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Engineers with their most commanding win of the season.

The win was the third in a row for Poly, bringing their record for this year to 4-4. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.7 points per game. As for Lake Clifton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Poly and Lake Clifton's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Poly and Edmondson-Westside (who has only given up 17 points per game) will meet at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Lake Clifton will challenge Dunbar at 3:45 p.m. on January 9th, a team that's only allowed 26.11 points per game.
