The Lakeland Eagles will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against the Anchor Bay Tars at 6:30 p.m. on December 27th. Lakeland has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Monday, Lakeland came up short against Northville and fell 53-45. While losing is never fun, Lakeland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 430th, while Northville is ranked 164th).
Meanwhile, Anchor Bay was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 51-45 to Utica. Anchor Bay has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
