The Bigfork Vikings & Valkyries won the last time they faced the Polson Pirates, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Bigfork blew past Polson 52-13 on the road. Given Bigfork's advantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked tenth, while Polson is ranked 75th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Bigfork now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Polson, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Bigfork is on the road again on Friday and play against Billings Central Catholic on December 15th. As for Polson, they will face off against Butte Central Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Butte Central Catholic is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
