A healthy portion of that aerial production (88 yards to be exact) went to Konrad Zwicke, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
Llano's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Carsten Hays with two sacks. He is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in the last seven games he's played dating back to last season.
The victory was the fifth in a row for Llano, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. As for Luling, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
After both having extra time off, Llano and Randolph will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th. Randolph will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Llano surely won't give up without a fight. As for Luling, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Florence at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.
