Meanwhile, Manila was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 37-33 to Tabiona. Manila has not had much luck with Tabiona recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Tintic has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season. As for Manila, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.
Tintic was taken down by Manila 56-11 in their previous matchup back in January. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Tintic was down 42-5.
