Basketball Recap: Odessa Extends Winning Streak to Four

While Odessa didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They enjoyed a cozy 64-49 win over the Knob Noster Panthers on Thursday. The victory was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on four straight.

Odessa's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. As for Knob Noster, their defeat ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Odessa and Plattsburg will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 6:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Knob Noster, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lafayette County at 7:00 p.m. on January 13, 2025.
