Little Snake River came into Friday's match looking for another win against Mountain View, but Emma Linford wouldn't allow it. The Buffalos narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Rattlers 3-2 for which the team can thank Linford, who had 16 digs and five assists. Linford is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season.

Mountain View's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Little Snake River, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.

Mountain View didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Lyman on the 30th. As for Little Snake River, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Encampment at 4:00 p.m. on September 23. The game will give the Rattlers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
