Mauldin had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Greenwood Eagles by a score of 6-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 last Tuesday.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 6-8. As for Greenwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
