With a playoff game on the line, the Howard Hawks rose to the challenge on Monday. They strolled past the Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 36-17. Winning may never get old, but Howard sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Howard got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ava Beck out in front who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Keira Ryan, who scored eight points.
Howard has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Atlanta Area School for the Deaf, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Howard will square off against Cottage at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The pair have allowed few points on average, (Howard: 23.5, Cottage: 29) so any points scored will be well earned. Atlanta Area School for the Deaf does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
