Even though the Dreher Blue Devils have not done well against the Lower Richland Diamond Hornets recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Dreher came out on top against Lower Richland by a score of 52-43. The win made it back-to-back wins for Dreher.
Jordan Barr continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 12 points along with six assists and four steals. Another player making a difference was Joshua Merrill, who scored eight points.
Dreher is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Lower Richland, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-6.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Brookland-Cayce the next time they take the court. Dreher will host Brookland-Cayce at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Lower Richland will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
