The Weatherford Kangaroos''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Trinity, falling 38-7. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Weatherford in their matchups with Trinity: they've now lost six in a row.
Keats Bohannon threw for 112 yards and a touchdown. Colton McClure was his top target, picking up 94 receiving yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Bradley Simmons rushed for 71 yards.
Weatherford now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Trinity, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.
Weatherford will be playing in front of their home fans against Paschal at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Trinity, they will head out on the road to face off against Bell at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bell is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
