Splendora lost against Porter back in November of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Splendora Wildcats opened the new year with a less-than-successful 45-34 loss to the Porter Spartans. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Splendora's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Porter, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-13 record.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Kingwood Park the next time they take the court. Porter will head out to face Kingwood Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Splendora will host them at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th.
