Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Ada

Ada put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Duncan Demons by a score of 51-41. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Demons are ranked 263rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ada can attribute much of their success to Miilan Riley, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Wofford, who posted four points along with 13 boards and three blocks.

Ada pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.7 points per game. As for Duncan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Ada didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 78-36 defeat against Putnam City on the 13th. Duncan has also already played their next contest, a 58-41 victory against Capitol Hill on the 13th.
