Clear Springs (League City), 17.0The Chargers (9-11) have played the toughest schedule in the state by far this season. They downed top-ranked Deer Park, but fell twice to Alvin and once to Ridge Point (Missouri City).
Dawson (Pearland), 15.8The Eagles (8-7) were ousted from the playoffs after losing twice to No. 7 Atascocita (Humble). Dawson went 2-1 against No. 18 this season and fell to top-5 ranked Carroll (Corpus Christi).
Angleton, 15.3The Wildcats (14-7) boasted one of the toughest schedules in the state this season thanks in part to facing Katy, Foster (Richmond), twice, and a season-ending loss to Dripping Springs. Angleton went 2-2 against top-20 teams.
College Park (The Woodlands), 15.2The Cavaliers had a rough year in the win column; they can look no further than a difficult schedule as part of the reason. College Park lost to intracity rival The Woodlands twice and Keller.
Boyd (McKinney), 15.2The Broncos (1-13) dropped games to top-25 teams North Lamar (Paris), Plano and Plano East (Plano).
Lufkin, 15.1The Panthers (12-10-1) beat top-25 teams Dripping Springs, The Woodlands, Timber Creek (Fort Worth) and tied Keller. Lufkin also lost to top teams Alvin and The Woodlands.
La Porte, 15.0The Bulldogs (4-20) may have won just four games this year, but four of those defeats came at the hands of top-six schools Deer Park and season-ending losses to Kingwood.
Friendswood, 15.0The Mustangs (19-14) didn't sport the best record, but they played a lot of great teams tough. They lost five games to top-eight teams, dropping games two games to both Kingwood and top-ranked Katy, and dropping one contest to Foster (Richmond).
Brazoswood (Clute), 14.8The Buccaneers (15-9) took on four top-20 teams in Katy, Kingwood, Atascocita (Humble), The Woodlands and Dripping Springs.
McKinney, 14.4The Lions (6-7) downed Plano East this season, but lost to North Lamar (Paris).
