On Friday, Paradise Honors was fully in charge, breezing past Queen Creek 65-18 on the road. The win made it back-to-back wins for Paradise Honors.
Star Nwabichie was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 25 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jocelyn Leal, who scored 13 points.
Paradise Honors' win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Queen Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paradise Honors will square off against North Canyon at 10:20 a.m. on Saturday. As for Queen Creek, they will head out on the road to face off against Pusch Ridge Christian Academy at 10:20 a.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Pusch Ridge Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 on Friday.
