After three games on the road, West Seattle is heading back home. They will take on The Nathan Hale Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Nathan Hale took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on West Seattle, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, West Seattle was able to grind out a solid victory over Ingraham, taking the game 14-7.
Bo Gionet was his usual excellent self, rushing for 56 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 38 points the game before, Nathan Hale were a bit more limited in their game on Friday. Their rough 32-12 defeat to Chief Sealth might stick with them for a while.
Mubarek Aman put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown. Aman's longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.
West Seattle has been no stranger to the win column this season, as they've started out with wins in five of their first six games, giving them a 5-1 record. As for Nathan Hale, they have fallen quite a ways from their 7-2 record last season and are now at 2-5.
West Seattle was able to grind out a solid win over Nathan Hale in their previous meeting back in October of 2022, winning 17-10. Will West Seattle repeat their success, or does Nathan Hale have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
