It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but New Prairie had no problem doing just that  on Saturday. They had just enough and edged the Twin Lakes Indians out  6-4. The  victory was nothing new for New Prairie as they're now sitting on 11 straight.
  Reed Robinson was  incredible,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with a  home run, three  RBI,  and a  stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of  Colin Wind, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
 On Twin Lakes' side,  CJ Brummett made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Carson Wagner, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-4.
 New Prairie is  on a roll lately: they've  won 14 of their last 15 matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 26-5 record  this season. As for Twin Lakes, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 26-5.
 New Prairie will be staying on the road  on Friday to face off against Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory at 8:00  p.m. The pair have allowed few  runs on average, (Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory: 3.7, New Prairie: 3.9) so any  runs scored will be well earned. Twin Lakes does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
