After a string of six wins, the Mountain View Christian Academy Conquerors's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 43-34 to Blue Ridge Christian. The matchup was a 19-19 toss-up at halftime, but Mountain View Christian Academy couldn't quite close it out.
Despite the loss, Mountain View Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Eryn Demko scored 15 points along with six steals and two blocks. Demko hasn't dropped below two steals for eight straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Spiewak, who scored six points along with four steals.
Blue Ridge Christian had a senior duo take command as Alisha Gingerich dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds and Callie Paradzinski dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gingerich has scored all season.
Mountain View Christian Academy's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-4. As for Blue Ridge Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-1.

Mountain View Christian Academy is coming into the match with six straight defeats on the road, so Massanutten Military Academy is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Blue Ridge Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Grace Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
