Meadowdale has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Trotwood-Madison Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meadowdale knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully Trotwood-Madison likes a good challenge.
Meadowdale can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent contest on Monday. They really took it to Dunbar for the full four quarters, racking up a 68-24 victory at home. Given Meadowdale's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 368th, while Dunbar is ranked 767th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Zhieyah Rolack and Janiyah Middlebrook were among the main playmakers for Meadowdale as the former dropped a double-double on 24 points and 13 rebounds and the latter dropped a double-double on 20 points and 24 rebounds. Rolack is absolutely dominating the point category: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. Jayla Walker was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Trotwood-Madison posted their biggest win since December 30, 2023 on Thursday. They put the hurt on Hughes with a sharp 41-19 win. The win was just what Trotwood-Madison needed coming off of a 67-21 defeat in their prior contest.
Meadowdale's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Trotwood-Madison, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-12.
Meadowdale took a serious blow against Trotwood-Madison in their previous matchup back in January of 2022, falling 72-24. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Meadowdale was down 45-11.
