Langford will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Hitchcock-Tulare at 7:00 PM. After both teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one of them is set up to suffer a discouraging change of fortune.
Langford took the contest and then some with a 45-6 victory last Friday over Northwestern Area. The success represented a nice turnaround for Langford, who in their last game suffered a tough 14-48 loss.
Meanwhile, Hitchcock-Tulare have had to suffer through a 3-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything came up roses for them against Tiospa Zina as the team secured a 64-12 win. Followers of Hitchcock-Tulare probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 3-3. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Langford and Hitchcock-Tulare will really light up the scoreboard.
