The third road match was the charm for Red River, as they earned their first road win of the season. They came out on top against the Grand Forks Central Knights by a score of 77-70 on Friday. That seven point margin sets a new team best for the Roughriders this season.

Red River's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-2. As for Grand Forks Central, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Red River will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Devils Lake at 3:30 p.m. on December 30th. Grand Forks Central and Minot will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on December 28th.
