West Marion extended their postseason success on Monday against Wesson. They blew past the Cobras 11-5. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 matchups by six  runs or more this season.
 Izzy Pittman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and three unearned) runs on nine hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Aliyah Graham, who  went 3-for-5 with one  home run and four  RBI. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in March.  Caydance Brumfield was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with four  RBI and one  double.
 West Marion  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .575. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wesson only posted  an  OBP of  .382.
West Marion has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record  this season. As for Wesson, their defeat was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 19-8.
