Alexander came out on top against Veterans Memorial on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run first inning. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Patriots. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won four contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Alexander, bringing their record up to 5-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Veterans Memorial, their loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-3.

Coming up, Alexander will be taking part in a tournament against Hays at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Veterans Memorial, they will take on Vandegrift in a tournament on Thursday.
