The Ridgeview Panthers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 72-37 win over Baker County. With that victory, Ridgeview brought their scoring average up to 51.3 points per game.
Leading Ridgeview to victory were Nia Blocton and Nacoya Blocton. Blocton dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds, while Blocton scored 32 points along with eight steals and seven assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Blocton has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Aniyah Campbell, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and four blocks.
Ridgeview has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Baker County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-4.
Ridgeview will head out on the road to take on Trinity Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Trinity Christian Academy is out to stop a seven-game streak of losses at home. Baker County will take on Columbia at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Columbia will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
