Sultana has gone 9-1 against Serrano recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Sultans will welcome the Diamondbacks at 3:15 p.m. Sultana is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.

Sultana proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 18) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past Oak Hills 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Sultans have posted since March 17th.

Savannah Vanderpool made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Vanderpool was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, Isabel Avalos was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 18 runs the game before, Serrano was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They lost 12-2 to Apple Valley. The Diamondbacks have struggled against the Sun Devils recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Jamie Motley made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Sultana pushed their record up to 16-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Serrano, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Everything went Sultana's way against Serrano in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Sultana made off with a 15-5 victory. Do the Sultans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Diamondbacks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
