The Buckeye Local Panthers won the last time they faced the Harrison Central Huskies, and things went their way on Monday too. Buckeye Local was the clear victor by a 54-33 margin over Harrison Central. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Buckeye Local.
Buckeye Local had a senior duo take command as Brynn McKeever dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds and Pamela Kandrach dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which McKeever has scored at least 25% of Buckeye Local's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Dailey, who scored 6 points.
Buckeye Local's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Harrison Central, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Buckeye Local has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Shenandoah at 5:30 p.m. on December 1st. As for Harrison Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Catholic Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Catholic Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 last Wednesday.
