Two dominant  signal callers in  Joshua Hopkins and  Linc Allen are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Bowdon Red Devils will square off against the Trion Bulldogs at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Bowdon is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last four games.
Bowdon is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have   all season. They claimed a resounding  68-14 win over Greenville. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by 20  points or more this season.
  Connor Daniel was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 63 yards and two  touchdowns, and also picked up 55 receiving yards and one  TD.  Joshua Chandler was another key player, rushing for 81 yards and one  score.
Meanwhile,  it may have taken  overtime to finish the job, but Trion ultimately got the result they hoped for  last Friday. They managed  a  26-20 victory over Greenville. The score was all tied up  14-14 at the break, but the Bulldogs were the  better team in the second half.
Trion found their leader in sophomore  Landon Kimbell, who rushed for 155 yards and one  touchdown while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. Kimbell has become a key player for the Bulldogs: the team is 2-1 when he posts  at  least  80  rushing yards, but 2-4 otherwise.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Trion was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 279  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've posted  since  the start of last season.
