The Kingman Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell 56-48 to Inman. Kingman has not had much luck with Inman recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the loss, Kingman still got an impressive performance from Donovan Cress, who scored 11 points. Those 11 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was ZayDen Volden, who scored eight points.
Kingman struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Kingman bumped their record down to 1-4 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Inman, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Kingman will head out on the road to face off against Sedgwick at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Inman will be home for the holidays to greet Conway Springs on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Kansas (Conway Springs is ranked 159th, while Inman is ranked 180th).
