Softball Recap: River Dell Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for River Dell, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against the Mahwah Thunderbirds on Wednesday as they made off with a 9-2 victory. The Golden Hawks haven't had any issues with the Thunderbirds recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

River Dell's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Mahwah, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-2 record.

River Dell has already played their next contest, a 10-3 defeat against Emerson on the 17th. As for Mahwah, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 7-4 loss against Northern Highlands on the 17th.
