The Columbia Wildcats lost to the West Harrison Hurricanes back in November of 2022, but the Columbia Wildcats didn't allow the West Harrison Hurricanes the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Columbia enjoyed a cozy 59-42 victory over West Harrison. The win made it back-to-back wins for Columbia.
Among those leading the charge was Payshunce Sims, who scored 18 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Columbia's points. Another player making a difference was Jakira Brown , who scored 12 points.
Columbia has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for West Harrison, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbia will challenge East Marion at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully East Marion focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 two weeks ago. West Harrison will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against St. Martin at 6:00 p.m. on November 30th.
