Xavier Butler Delivers Electric Performance Vs Archer
Starting off the list is South Gwinnett's Xavier Butler, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Butler rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 115 yards and a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.
South Gwinnett pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Butler and South Gwinnett will square off against Grayson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

The victory got Newton back to even at 3-3. Johnson's next match is against Rockdale County on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.

On Saturday, South Gwinnett got the W thanks in part to Jackson Cook playing the best football he has all season. Cook rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 50 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.all of that, rushing production came thanks to one massive run
On the season, Cook has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 49.3 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 28 receiving yards per game.
