Ayala (Chino Hills, Calif.) 49-34 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a
Louis Napoles touchdown run in the first quarter, the Huskies led 35-14 at the half.
Chino Hills saw its 21-point halftime lead fall to eight entering the fourth.
Brian Meyette played well for the Bulldogs. The junior quarterback threw two touchdowns and ran for one touchdown.
CH's standout player in the win was Simko. The senior quarterback ran for one touchdown. He has now scored eight touchdowns on the season.
The Huskies also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 40-17.
The loss comes after Ayala defeated Damien 49-31 last week. The victory was a step in the right direction for Chino Hills, which was coming off a 41-13 defeat at the hands of Charter Oak in its previous game.
In a Sierra game next week Chino Hills (4-2) takes on Claremont, and Ayala (5-2) will go up against Charter Oak also in a Sierra game.
