Jaylen Johnson Dazzles in Thomas County Central Win
Starting off the list is Thomas County Central's Jaylen Johnson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Johnson threw for 231 yards and three touchdowns on only 19 passes, and also rushed for 59 yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.

Veterans had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Kromah it was a similar story. When Kromah last faced the Warhawks back in October of 2023, he rushed for 151 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 54 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Rodney Dunbar Turns in Season-Best Performance
Rodney Dunbar produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Thomas County Central to the win on Friday. Dunbar picked up 103 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
On the season, Dunbar has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 42.5 receiving yards per game.

Weston Bryan and Co. Win Eighth in a Row
Weston Bryan was instrumental in extending Lee County's winning streak to eight on Friday. Bryan was dynamite, throwing for 276 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes.

Canton Williams was instrumental in extending Lee County's winning streak to eight on Friday. Williams rushed for 66 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long.
On the year, Williams has run in 7 touchdowns while averaging 57 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he had two rushing touchdowns.
