They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-55 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sunset Bison. Jorge Castillo had an outrageously good game for Sunset as he went 9 for 15 en route to 24 points along with eight boards and six steals. Those eight rebounds gave Castillo a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Watson, who posted 13 points and seven boards.
Adamson's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Sunset, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 6-15.
