The Chandler Wolves entered their tilt with the Shadow Ridge Stallions with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Chandler claimed a resounding 53-26 victory over Shadow Ridge on the road. That's another feather in the cap for Chandler, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Chandler found their leader in underclassman Averi Mehlberg, who scored 17 points. The matchup was Mehlberg's third in a row with at least ten points. Karis Hurd was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
Despite the loss, Shadow Ridge still got an impressive performance from Olivia Holub, who scored 9 points. Holub scored a full 34.6% of Shadow Ridge's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Chandler has yet to lose a contest on the road this season, leaving them with a 3-0 record. As for Shadow Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chandler will take on Basha at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Basha is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Shadow Ridge, they will be playing at home against Paradise Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Paradise Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Tuesday.
