The Lake Washington Kangaroos's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They took a 57-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Leuzinger.
Madison Watts continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Leuzinger, scoring 31 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which Watts has scored at least 25% of Leuzinger's points. Dresha Moore was another key contributor, scoring six points along with 11 rebounds.
Lake Washington's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Leuzinger, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.
Lake Washington won't have much time to rest: their next game is against San Dimas at 9:05 p.m. on December 28th. Leuzinger will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Beaumont at 2:55 p.m. on December 28th. Beaumont will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 308th, while Leuzinger is ranked 22nd).
