East Palestine hasn't had much luck against David Anderson recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Bulldogs will venture away from home to face off against the Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. East Palestine has given up an average of 7.5 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
East Palestine made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Memorial, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 11-9 on Friday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kennedy Andre was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over nine innings while giving up three earned (and eight unearned) runs off ten hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Kara Lewis was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Graycee Ford, who went 1-for-5 with two runs and two RBI.
Chaney hit David Anderson with a four-run first inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Blue Devils fell 7-2 to the Cowboys.
David Anderson saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lexi Roush, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
David Anderson has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for East Palestine, their record is now 5-7.
East Palestine came out on top in a nail-biter against David Anderson in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 8-6. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
