Baseball Recap: South Fremont Has No Trouble Against Ontario

South Fremont not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 19, 2024. Everything went their way against the Ontario Tigers as the South Fremont Cougars made off with a 12-4 win. The Cougars' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

South Fremont got a big performance out of Cole Crapo, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Those two runs gave Crapo a new career-high. Hudson Miller was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Crapo wasn't the only one working in the hit department: South Fremont kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

South Fremont's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Ontario, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as South Fremont Cougars face off against Jerome Tigers at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ontario, they will face off against Marsh Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
