The Browerville Tigers were the 55-51 winner over the Upsala Cardinals when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Browerville took a serious blow against the Cardinals on Tuesday, falling 76-42.
Upsala got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Samantha Pilarski out in front who scored 21 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pilarski has scored all season. Brenna Graves was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds.
Browerville's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Upsala, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Pine River-Backus the next time they take the court. Browerville will host the Tigers at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, while the Cardinals will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday.
