They came out on top against All Saints Episcopal by a score of 44-36. Given Brook Hill's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 479th, while All Saints Episcopal is ranked 1062nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Despite the loss, All Saints Episcopal saw an underclassman step up: Caz Franks dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. The contest was Franks' seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Hill, who scored ten points.
Brook Hill's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for All Saints Episcopal, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-13.
Brook Hill will be playing in front of their home fans against Dallas Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Dallas Christian is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for All Saints Episcopal, they will head out on the road to face off against Vanguard College Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Vanguard College Prep is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
