After losing to the Hand Tigers the last time they met, the Norwich Free Academy Wildcats decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Norwich Free Academy walked away with  a   51-44  win over the Tigers  on Saturday.
 It was another big night for  Emily Orcutt, who  scored 16 points along with six  rebounds.  Nevaeh Yorke was another key contributor,  almost  dropping  a double-double on 12 points and nine  rebounds.
 Norwich Free Academy is  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last nine matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Hand,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 6-11.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norwich Free Academy will be staying on the road  on Monday to face off against the Bulldogs at 7:00  p.m.  on February 5th. Lyman Memorial will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. As for Hand, they will head out on the road to  face off against  the Hornets at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked  in Connecticut (Branford is ranked 90th, while the Tigers are ranked 76th).
