Even though Wilson Hall has not done well against Florence Christian recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Wilson Hall came out on top against Florence Christian by a score of 41-32. The win was a breath of fresh air for Wilson Hall as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Laurence Manning Academy posted their biggest victory yet this season two weeks ago. They were the clear victor by a 50-26 margin over Charleston Collegiate.
Wilson Hall's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5. As for Laurence Manning Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.
Wilson Hall was able to grind out a solid victory over Laurence Manning Academy when the teams last played back in February of 2023, winning 51-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wilson Hall since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
