Sotomayor's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bryan Hernandez, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Hernandez is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Denzell Guzman, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
Torres' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Oscar Gonzalez, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremy Escobar, who scored eight points.
