Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Newman, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-1.
Episcopal does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Newman will head out on the road to face off against Calvary Baptist Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Calvary Baptist Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight matchups -- so hopefully Newman likes a good challenge.
