The Word of God Christian Academy Holy Rams simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Quality Education Academy Fighting Pharaohs 56-10. The Holy Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 20 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Word of God Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ayeesha Curtis, who posted 20 points. Those 20 points gave Curtis a new career-high. Raven Mason was another key player, putting up 17 points and five rebounds.
The win made it two in a row for Word of God Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 11-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Word of God Christian Academy will face off against NC GBB Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Quality Education Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 31st.
