Beth Haven stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They blew past Christian Educational Consortium 83-59. Given Beth Haven's advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while Christian Educational Consortium is ranked 216th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Levi Langley, who scored 26 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. DaMontez Malone was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Meanwhile, Atherton scored the most points they've had all season to find success on January 6th. They breezed by Frankfort on the road to the tune of 85-45. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Atherton has posted yet this season.
Beth Haven is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Atherton, their win ended a eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-11.
Beth Haven couldn't quite finish off Atherton in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 and fell 67-64. Can Beth Haven avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
