Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Daniel Powers stepped things up a notch to give Escondido Charter the 'W'. Powers wasn't messing around, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI. The contest was his third straight with at least one stolen base.

Powers and Escondido Charter will welcome Francis Parker at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last time these two faced off, Powers and Co. were forced to settle for a 16-2 loss.
