Flanagan is a perfect 6-0 against Jupiter since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Flanagan Falcons will host the Jupiter Warriors at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Flanagan: 3.5, Jupiter: 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
On Wednesday, Flanagan came up short against Braddock and fell 5-1.

Flanagan got a good showing from Ethan Cabrera, who struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). Cabrera has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Flanagan saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Daniel Chavez, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Gavin Marte also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
Meanwhile, Jupiter entered their tilt with Wellington on Wednesday with six consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with seven. They never let the Wolverines get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory.
Not much got past Ethan Trivison, who gave up just three hits and racked up seven Ks to keep Wellington off the board.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Colton Schwarz, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Jupiter hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wellington struck out seven times.
Jupiter's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Flanagan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Friday. Flanagan hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. However, it's not like Jupiter struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.6 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Flanagan skirted past Jupiter 2-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will Flanagan repeat their success, or does Jupiter have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
